Where is Thandi?
Thandi Community is situated in the beautiful Elgin Valley one hour east of Cape Town in South Africa. The valley is resplendent with vineyards, native plants, bright flowerbeds and fruitful orchards.
What is Thandi?
Thandi is a collective name given to a 200 hectare fruit farm called
Lebanon Fruit Farm Trust - a farm stall called Thandi Farm Kitchen
which produces crafts and gifts, fresh vegetables plus national and
international food served in its 80 seater restaurant - and a disadvantaged
community called Lebanon and also includes a farm school, local day hospital and have recently opened the Thandi creche within the Lebanon community.
